Three Ways To Win At A Twitter Party Giveaway

1. ANSWER QUESTIONS:

In a twitter party, moderators tweet questions every couple of minutes. Some of those questions require answers either from their co-hosts or from you the attendee.

You can win by Sending in meaningful answers to the said tweet.

Let's consider that the Twitter hashtag for a particular twitter party is #ABC14. Ours was #NAACPAP14.

And Let's say a question is posed:

E.g. Q3 @arithmetic @science,what is your opinion on child
marriage? #ABC14

*Q stands for Question.

You can answer e.g A3 #ABC14, I think it is dumb because children do not want to be married.

This is not my actual answer. Just a sample.

In this case, your answer contains A3: i.e answer to Question 3.
Your answer contains your answer, as well as the hashtag.

2. RETWEET AND FAVORITE

You can also win by Retweeting both other peoples' responses and questions, as well as all other messages and answers in the forum.

A Retweet simply is defined as when a user shares another's message on Twitter.

ReTweets expand you reach as an individual or company and can contribute additional website traffic, subscribers and customers.

Under each Twitter message, one would often find three signs.

This is the one we are referring to here:

A ‘Favorite’ on Twitter refers to topics or subjects that users are most interested in. Every user in social media websites is unique and this is why it’s important for the social media sites to identify their particular interests.

Websites and advertisers online will better understand and determine their target market by knowing which topics and areas the people want to read about.

There are so many topics available, such as sports, fashion, music, politics, television, computers, etc. These can further be categorized to make it easier for Twitter fans to follow and monitor the news and related details.

Favorites are shown by a tiny star icon right beside the Tweet. When you mark a Tweet as a favorite, the original tweeter will be informed that someone liked their post. You can also save the Tweet for future use or browsing.

3. HASHTAG

Always use the hashtag!

Many people have had their participation via responses, tweets and retweets ignored, because they were not using the hashtags!

Dear Afrikan Girl, think of a twitter party hashtag like a physical location/ venue for a party.

Its almost like wearing white to an all white-party where the best dressed person was supposed to win a gift. You wouldn't win.

4. TWEET ENCOURAGING MESSAGES AND HASHTAGS.

During a twitter party, feel free to Tweet and Retweet inspiring messages/ quotes that add more value to the topic being discussed.
